Foxstar Saber/ Viking Themed, Etched and Powdercoated Lightsaber

QAnother collaborative journey completed, and well worth the efforts. Etched by Joshua Gamble with an original knotwork design by himself, and his brother with a Viking/Foxstar theme. They knocked it out of the park. Odins Ravens flank a Thors hammer on the main shroud, and 2 gorgeous foxes gaze at a star on the mid shroud. Foxstar Saber Artifice around the band, and runes for Truth and Honor around the grip, this thing just blows me away every time I look at it. Thank you Josh!!! 🙏

Colored with 7 colors in a warm metals theme, this was a true test of all my powdercoating skills. I am very pleased with the look that was achieved. One of ancient elegance and grace. Definitely has a strong early High Republic feel to it.

I replaced the D-Ring setup with a customized pommel, which Russell Mitchem bored out for me, after I drilled out the venting indents to give it superb sound venting from the original SF pommel. Russell also did the cut outs for the crystal chamber/2nd speaker.

l like that pommel is sort of like a stylized fox tail in shape, the perfect match for this hilt. I also widened the shroud gap and replaced the set screws with 8/32s, so I could use thumbscrews.

Mayan Clear over Lazer Copper and Gonze on etched shrouds and side bars. Monaco Copper inner shroud. Gold Dust Texure and Highland Bronze on core.
